We are actively seeking a proficient SAP ABAP Senior Consultant to enhance our talented team. In this role, you will specialize in the analysis, design, development, and implementation of ABAP applications within the SAP environment. Your expertise will be essential for delivering quality solutions tailored to meet the diverse needs of our clients.

As a Senior Consultant, you will work closely with business users and functional consultants to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and create efficient and effective ABAP programs, reports, and custom enhancements. You will also play a key role in mentoring junior team members and maintaining high standards of technical excellence.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms based on client requirements.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants to gather and clarify technical requirements and specifications.
  • Optimize and troubleshoot existing ABAP applications for performance and reliability.
  • Conduct unit testing and support integration testing to ensure system integrity and usability.
  • Provide technical documentation for all developed solutions and ensure knowledge transfer to support teams.
  • Stay updated with the latest ABAP development practices, tools, and technologies to enhance service delivery.
  • Mentor and train junior consultants, promoting a culture of learning and adherence to best practices within the team.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development with a strong focus on complex coding scenarios.
  • Solid knowledge of Object-Oriented ABAP, data dictionary, and performance tuning techniques.
  • Experience with SAP tools like SAP Web IDE and SAP Business Application Studio is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and provide technical insights.
