Blue Cold Refrigeration Pvt. Ltd. is a leader in the commercial and industrial refrigeration industry, providing high-quality heat exchange and cooling solutions. We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Sales Engineerto drive the sales of our Brazed Plate Heat Exchangers (BPHEs). This role is key to bridging the gap between customer technical requirements and our product capabilities, ensuring customer satisfaction and business growth.
Summary
The Sales Engineer for BPHE Sales will be responsible for promoting and selling Blue Cold Refrigeration's Brazed Plate Heat Exchanger products. This professional will combine deep technical expertise in heat transfer and refrigeration with consultative sales skills to identify customer needs, propose appropriate BPHE solutions, and secure new business while maintaining strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and target potential clients and new market opportunities for BPHE products across various applications (e.g., HVAC, refrigeration, industrial cooling).
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, consulting firms, contractors, and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
- Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets for the BPHE product line.
- Prepare and deliver compelling technical sales presentations and product demonstrations tailored to client-specific needs.
- Negotiate commercial terms and conditions, close sales orders, and manage the sales cycle from lead generation to final delivery.
Technical Consultation & Support
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for BPHE products, answering technical queries and providing expert pre-sales and post-sales support.
- Analyze and interpret customer specifications, engineering requirements, and system schematics to recommend the optimal BPHE model and configuration.
- Perform technical calculations and sizing for BPHEs based on heat load, flow rates, temperatures, and refrigerants to ensure proposed solutions meet performance criteria.
- Coordinate with the Engineering/R&D teams to relay customer feedback, technical concerns, and requirements for custom or new product development.
- Conduct product training for customers and internal sales teams on the technical features, benefits, and applications of BPHE technology.
Reporting & Market Intelligence
- Prepare and submit regular sales forecasts, activity reports, and market feedback reports to management.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments related to heat exchangers and refrigeration to inform sales strategy.
- Represent Blue Cold Refrigeration at industry trade shows, conferences, and technical seminars.
Qualifications and Skills
Required
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Refrigeration Engineering or a related technical field.
- Experience: Proven experience (e.g., 3-5 years) in technical sales, specifically involving complex industrial components or systems, preferably within the HVAC, refrigeration, or heat exchanger industry.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of heat transfer principles, thermodynamics, and refrigeration cycles. In-depth knowledge of Brazed Plate Heat Exchangers (BPHEs), their applications, sizing, and performance characteristics.
- Sales Acumen: Proven ability to manage a sales territory, develop consultative sales strategies, and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Travel: Willingness to travel frequently (local, regional, and/or national) to client sites and for business development.
