Key ResponsibilitiesA. Sales Leadership and Business DevelopmentAchieve Sales Targets: Responsible for the branch's overall sales and gross profit goals, setting individual quotas, and developing the strategic plan to meet or exceed them.Team Management: Recruit, hire, train, coach, and manage a team of Physical Security Sales Representatives, providing ongoing feedback and performance evaluations.Strategic Selling: Lead the team in complex, consultative sales processes, which includes identifying new target markets, conducting site surveys, and developing tailored physical security solutions for clients.Forecasting & Reporting: Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts, analyze performance data, and prepare reports for senior management on sales activities, pipeline status, and market trends.Key Account Management: Directly manage and nurture relationships with the branch's largest or most strategic accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.B. Branch Operations and Financial ControlP&L Management: Manage the branch's Profit and Loss (P&L) statement, control operational expenses, and ensure profitability.Resource Allocation: Oversee the coordination of sales with the branch's technical, installation, and service departments to ensure seamless project delivery and post-sales support.Customer Service: Ensure excellence in customer service across the branch, resolving escalated customer concerns to maintain high retention rates.Compliance: Ensure all sales contracts, installations, and internal operations comply with company policies, industry standards, and relevant local, state, and federal regulations.C. Technical Expertise and Market AwarenessSolution Design: Maintain expert-level knowledge of the company's full portfolio of physical security solutions (hardware, software, and services) to effectively position them against customer needs.Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about competitor activities, emerging security technologies, and market trends to adjust sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.Pricing and Contracts: Ensure all proposals and contracts are technically accurate, financially sound (meeting proper margin requirements), and clearly define the scope of work.II. Essential QualificationsExperience: Proven track record of 5-10 years in sales, with significant experience (typically 2-3 years) in a sales management or branch leadership role, ideally within the physical security, alarm systems, or IT/technology integration industry.Technical Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of physical security systems, including access control, video management (CCTV), alarm systems, and potentially related IT/network infrastructure.Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is often preferred.Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, business acumen (P&L understanding), and problem-solving skills. Must be a results-driven, self-motivated leader.
