Job Overview

To ensure that all garments are properly finished, ironed, inspected, packed, and ready for shipment as per buyer quality standards and delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities

1. Garment Finishing

  • Supervise all finishing activities — thread cutting, trimming, ironing/pressing, tagging, folding, and packing.

2. Quality Inspection

  • Conduct inline and final inspections of finished garments.
  • Identify and segregate defective pieces for repair or replacement.
  • Coordinate with the quality control (QC) team to maintain AQL standards.

3. Packing & Documentation

  • Ensure correct packing methods, polybag labeling, barcoding, size ratios, and carton markings.
  • Verify that packing lists and shipment documents match the buyer's packing instructions.
  • Allocate work to finishers, pressers, folders, and packers according to production targets.
  • Train staff on handling garments carefully and using finishing equipment safely.
  • Monitor worker performance and maintain discipline on the floor.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Knowledge of garment finishing processes and quality parameters.
  • Ability to handle pressing machines, steam irons, and packaging tools.
  • Strong team management and coordination skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality & timelines.
  • Basic computer knowledge (for reports and tracking).
  • Report production efficiency and shipment readiness to the production head.
  • Keep finishing stock registers updated (finished vs. pending pieces).

Job Type: Full-time
