Job Overview
As a new team member, you will develop and maintain user-facing aspects of our web applications. This involves expertise in front-end technologies such as Html, CSS, Javascript and Reactjs, and the ability to see projects through from start to finish with good organisational skills and attention to detail. You will be expected to provide both short-term and long-term solutions while maintaining quick and scalable solutions. Collaboration with the rest of the team is also valued to find answers to problems faced in other projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Architect, build and maintain excellent applications with clean code.Implement pixel-perfect UIs that match designs.
  • Create clean, modern, smooth animations and transitions that provide an excellent user experience.
  • Integrate third-party APIs.
  • Write unit and integration tests for applications.
  • Ensure cross-platform optimization for mobile devices.
  • Ensure application responsiveness.
  • Work alongside graphic designers to implement web design features.
  • See a project through from conception to finished product.
  • Design and develop APIs.
  • Write unit and integration tests for applications.
  • Meet both technical and consumer needs.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of professional experience working with ReactJS.
  • 2+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Demonstrated experience working on large, complex systems.
  • Experience building APIs and manipulating data on the backend to integrate with the application.
  • Ability to take ownership of your work and ensure you meet agreed-upon expectations, both in terms of estimates and general process.
  • Understanding of ReactJS best practices and a commitment to following them.
  • Ability to tackle new and challenging front-end issues and contribute to libraries as needed.
