Responsibilities ::

  • Writing and maintaining code
  • Working with Bigcommerce APIs
  • Deploying new microservices and supporting existing ones on AWS
  • Writing technical documentation and participating in code reviews
  • Communication with the team and the client

Key Skills ::

NestJS, AWS, JIRA, Asana, GCP, Azure , TypeScript,

Desired Candidate Profile ::

  • Strong TypeScript knowledge
  • Experience with NestJS / express
  • 4+ years Good understanding of PostgreSQL. Performance tuning, profiling, basic understanding of how it works underhood. (advanced knowledge of MsSQL or MySQL can be an option)
  • Basic experience with Clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure). Resource creation, security, automations
  • Basic experience with any CI/CD
  • Good knowledge of React
  • Good knowledge of any big components library (mui, mantine, shadcn)
  • Understanding of architectural approaches for distributed systems
  • Experience designing and documenting APIs (REST and/or GraphQL)
  • Experience owning features end-to-end: from requirements to production support
  • Experience with monorepos
  • Experience in async job queues
  • Understanding of observability tools: logs, metrics, tracing Extensive experience with database technologies and architecture.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills.  Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
