In Data & Performance, our data architects turn strategic business data requirements into integrated designs, that are aligned with enterprise strategy and related business architecture. Working with our Business/Data Analyst, who assures stakeholder requests are mapped from business definition to source system location, the Data Architect transforms these source system definitions to communicable requirements for our INTEL Data Store Data Engineers. This can be for new source system introduction to INTEL DS, major system transformation, minor enhancements or day to day support.

We are looking for a data architect to support the internal resources data domain in charge of governing the data used in our internal processes (mostly finance and supply chain data).

Key Activities Expected:

Is familiar with macro level data, organizes data at micro level and builds data models for applicationsDocuments data for business consumptionProvides a relational data model as a standard for consuming applications. Combines elements and business rules to create data quality rulesIdentifies and advises on sensitive information and provide support for the implementation of data security rules and processes. Possesses an advanced level of data security knowledgeHelps in design architecture & preliminary data models, accompanies the project and adapt the model if needed, handles requests to modify data modelsMonitors social feeds within the company to answer stakeholder doubts and queriesUses social feeds and documentation databases to assure E2E communication of new releases and changesWorks within our production ticketing system to respond to data queries, concerns and anomalies.

Skills & Experience:

Strong stakeholder management etiquetteDigital knowledge worker, experienced in using digital tools to advance stakeholder interactionsHas experience in modelling, processing, and transforming complex dataDatabase querying experience, with 2-3 years writing SQL against any databaseStrong communication skills and team playerHas experience in designing storage solutionsHas knowledge of systems development life cycle, project mgmt. approaches and requirements, design and testing techniquesIs skilled (or can quickly adapt) to business functional needs, processes and lifecyclesExperience as a data engineer and data integrator is an added advantageHas knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP…) and big data technologies Has knowledge of main architecture frameworks (eg. ITIL, TOGAF ….)Has knowledge in Finance or supply chain environments
