Technician

Solar Energy Technicians are responsible for a variety of tasks that are critical in making solar power accessible and reliable. Their primary duty is to install solar panels and systems in various settings, which may include residential, commercial, or industrial locations. They ensure that these installations meet the specifications designed by solar engineers and adhere to all relevant codes and safety standards.

Detailed Tasks and Duties

The specific tasks handled by Solar Energy Technicians can be quite diverse, depending on the project and setting:

  • Conduct site assessments to determine the best placement and layout of solar panels.
  • Configure, install, and wire photovoltaic solar systems, including the electrical wiring and fixtures.
  • Connect solar systems to the local power grid, and perform necessary testing to ensure their safety and efficiency.
  • Maintain records of all maintenance and installation tasks, ensuring compliance with all applicable standards and regulations.
  • Diagnose and repair malfunctioning systems and their components, thereby reducing downtime and helping to maintain high levels of system operational reliability.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry technologies, best practices, and guidelines.

Education:

  • SSLC ITI or Equalant Education.

Salary Range :

Rs Rs , based on skills, experience, and interview performance
