Python Developer (Remote - India Shift | 5+ Years Experience)

Location: Remote (India)

Experience Required: 5+ Years

Shift Timing: Regular India Business Hours

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Python Developer to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python development, data pipeline orchestration, cloud services, and data modeling using modern tools. This is a fully remote position aligned with India business hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop scalable, efficient, and maintainable applications using Python and OOP best practices.
  • Design and maintain Airflow DAGs to orchestrate complex data workflows.
  • Utilize Kubernetes Pod Operator to manage task execution.
  • Implement robust data ingestion pipelines from GCP buckets to Snowflake.
  • Build and maintain DBT models aligned with medallion architecture.
  • Write advanced SQL queries optimized for performance and data transformation.
  • Create and manage dashboards using Sigma; experience with DOMO is a plus.
  • Utilize Git and GitHub for version control, branching, and CI/CD automation.
  • Develop and integrate APIs using GCP Cloud Functions.
  • Understand and utilize REST APIs for data extraction and processing.

Mandatory Skills:

  • 5+ years of hands-on Python development experience.
  • Strong command of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
  • Expertise in Apache Airflow and Kubernetes Pod Operator.
  • Solid experience with GCP, Snowflake, SQL, and DBT.
  • Proven experience with reporting tools such as Sigma (DOMO is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of Git/GitHub and CI/CD workflows.
  • Experience developing and consuming REST APIs with Python.

Good to Have:

  • Familiarity with data governance principles.
  • Experience with data cataloging tools like Atlan.
  • Knowledge of data quality platforms such as DQLabs.
