We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles and hands-on experience with Tally software. The role will also involve handling various back office operations and customer inquiries, when required. We value punctuality, professionalism, and a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain financial records.
  • Use Tally ERP software for data entry, bookkeeping, GST, invoicing, and reconciliation.
  • Assist with preparing financial reports, statements, and summaries.
  • Maintain internal documentation, reports, and records efficiently.
  • Handle general back office tasks such as data entry, record-keeping, and administrative support.
  • Attend to customer inquiries (in person, over phone or email) in a professional and courteous manner, when required.
  • Ensure confidentiality and integrity of company data and financial records.
  • Maintain punctuality and exhibit a positive, cooperative attitude with team members and customers.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience in accounting or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP is mandatory.
  • Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and other financial regulations is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Good communication skills in English and Hindi/Bengali (as applicable).
  • Must be punctual, disciplined, and well-behaved.
  • Ability to take responsibility and work independently when needed.
