We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Consultant to manage, maintain, and optimize our SAP landscape. The role involves system administration, installation, upgrades, performance tuning, and troubleshooting across SAP environments, ensuring high availability and optimal performance of SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Solution Manager, etc.).

Perform SAP system upgrades, support package installations, and kernel upgrades.

Manage database administration for SAP-supported databases (HANA, Oracle, MS SQL, DB2).

Monitor system performance, analyze logs, and resolve issues proactively.

Perform client copies, system refreshes, and transport management.

Implement and manage SAP security, including user administration and role assignments.

Handle backups, disaster recovery planning, and high-availability configurations.

Work with OS, database, and network teams for integrated problem resolution.

Apply SAP Notes, patches, and performance optimization techniques.

Provide Basis support during project implementations, migrations, and cutovers.

Maintain detailed documentation for configurations, procedures, and system changes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

3+ years of hands-on SAP Basis administration experience.

Strong knowledge of SAP NetWeaver architecture, S/4HANA, and SAP Fiori.

Experience with SAP HANA database administration.

Proficiency in OS administration (Windows, Linux/Unix).

Experience with SAP Solution Manager for monitoring and change management.

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.Role & responsibilities
