About the Role

We are on the lookout for a Senior Staff Engineer who is passionate about building robust infrastructure solutions and thrives in high-impact environments. In this role, you will lead the development of a scalable Infrastructure Asset Management Platform designed to help infrastructure teams manage and track assets efficiently for regulatory compliance and audit readiness. You will play a key role in shaping a platform that serves as the backbone for operational visibility across public cloud environments.

This position demands deep expertise in Golang and Python, a solid understanding of public cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and a problem-solving mindset to design systems that are scalable, secure, and easy to maintain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of a full-featured Infrastructure Asset Management Platform, ensuring it supports automation, auditing, and tracking of critical infrastructure assets.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and platform teams to understand asset lifecycle needs, compliance requirements, and operational pain points.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using Golang and Python to create scalable backend services and microservices.
  • Design and implement integrations with public cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) to automatically discover, classify, and monitor infrastructure assets.
  • Drive the architecture of the platform with a focus on performance, scalability, fault-tolerance, and operational excellence.
  • Build tools and workflows that provide visibility into asset status, ownership, change history, and compliance states.
  • Maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) pipelines and automation frameworks to deploy and manage cloud-native systems securely and reliably.
  • Ensure security best practices and regulatory compliance are embedded in the design and implementation of the platform.
  • Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to setting engineering standards and best practices across the team.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 3 years of experience in software engineering with a focus on backend systems and cloud infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in Golang and Python with a solid portfolio of backend systems or platform services.
  • Strong experience working with public cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, particularly in designing scalable systems or integrating cloud APIs.
  • Solid understanding of infrastructure operations, monitoring, asset management, and audit requirements.
  • Experience with cloud-native architectures, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and infrastructure automation tools like Terraform or Pulumi.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a passion for delivering well-engineered and maintainable software.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
Nice to Have
  • Prior experience in infrastructure governance, compliance tooling, or asset lifecycle management.
  • Exposure to tools like ServiceNow, CMDBs, or cloud asset inventory platforms.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks or compliance standards like SOC2, ISO 27001, or NIST.
