Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced
Production Manager
to oversee daily manufacturing operations in our nutraceutical facility. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, or food production, with a strong understanding of GMP, regulatory compliance, and efficient production planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and control all production activities to ensure timely delivery of quality products.
  • Supervise and coordinate production teams to meet output, quality, and safety targets.
  • Prepare and implement production schedules and resource allocation plans.
  • Ensure adherence to
    GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
    ,
    HACCP
    , and
    FSSAI / USFDA
    guidelines.
  • Monitor raw material consumption and coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Quality Control, and Maintenance departments for smooth production flow.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement continuous process improvements.
  • Maintain documentation as per regulatory and audit requirements.
  • Ensure equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, and hygiene standards in production areas.
  • Train and motivate staff to uphold operational excellence and safety compliance.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education:
    B.Pharm / M.Pharm / B.Sc / M.Sc / B.Tech in Food Technology, Biotechnology, or related field.
  • Experience:
    Minimum
    5 years
    in nutraceutical / pharma / food manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Knowledge of:
  • GMP, ISO, HACCP, FSSAI, or USFDA regulations
  • Tablet, capsule, powder, and liquid formulations (nutraceuticals)
  • Batch documentation and validation processes
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
