We are looking for an experienced
Data Architect
with strong expertise in the
Pharma domain
, enterprise data modelling, and modern data architecture frameworks. This is a key role driving the design and governance of data across a complex, large-scale environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of scalable, domain-oriented data architecture for Pharma use cases.
  • Build conceptual, logical, and physical data models using ERwin Data Modeler.
  • Define and implement data governance, metadata, and classification frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain data blueprints, enterprise landscape maps, and end-to-end data flows.
  • Architect solutions based on Data Mesh principles and domain-driven design.
  • Work with medallion/lakehouse architectures to support analytics and data engineering teams.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to translate complex Pharma processes into data entities and models.

Required Skills & Experience
Pharma Domain Expertise

  • Strong understanding of Pharma business processes such as R&D, clinical operations, manufacturing, regulatory, or supply chain.

Data Modeling

  • Hands-on experience with ERwin Data Modeler.
  • Ability to build dimensional, flattened, canonical, and domain-specific data models.
  • Strong understanding of entity relationships aligned with business processes.

Data Governance

  • Experience with governance frameworks (DAMA, stewardship, lineage, metadata).
  • Knowledge of data classification standards including PHI/PII.

Architecture & Design

  • Proven expertise in Data Mesh or domain-oriented architecture.
  • Experience with medallion/lakehouse architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold layers).
  • Ability to develop enterprise-level data architecture blueprints and system landscape maps.

Additional Technical Skills (Preferred)

  • SQL proficiency
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP)
  • Understanding of ETL/ELT & modern data engineering practices
  • Exposure to data lake technologies (Delta Lake, Databricks, or equivalents)
