Retail Store Accountant

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical accounting, financial analysis, and a deep understanding of GAAP principles. Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Record-Keeping:

2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records

3. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations

4. Financial Statement Preparation:

5. Assist in preparing financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, etc.)

6. Review and analyze financial data for accuracy and discrepancies

7. Accounting Tasks:

8. Perform accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll tasks

9. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

10. Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow

11. Auditing and Compliance:

12. Assist with internal and external audits

13. Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

14. Special Projects:

15. Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by management

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

2. 0-2 years of experience in accounting or related field

3. Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xerox, etc.)

4. Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards

5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

6. Attention to detail and organizational skills

7. Effective communication and teamwork skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15, ₹20,000.00 per month
