JOB FAMILY SUMMARY

Analyse, define, and develop the organisation's business process methods and practices. Assess requirements for internal business processes, ensuring compatibility with organizational strategic goals. Implement new processes, evaluate existing processes, and recommend optimal solutions and improvements. Partner with business process owners and management on strategic initiatives.

Use quantitative analysis methodology to perform data, cost and benefit, and/or process measurement analysis. May train key users in new processes. Research country trends for application of process improvement techniques and best practices.
 

SPECIFIC JOB SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

Position Summary

The PSS Enablement Consultant/ Advisor is responsible for working with various teams within PSS including but not limited to Sr. Managers, Supervisors & Champions. Coordinating with PSS change and training leaders and organisational business leaders to drive standardization and adoption of new processes and tools across PSS locations within Ingram Micro. This person will follow the change management methods and techniques implemented by the change management leader to ensure enablement & adoption of the new processes and functionalities.

This role is responsible for ensuring Ingram Micro projects and change initiatives are on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage. This person will focus on the people side of change – including changes to business processes, systems and technology. The primary responsibility will be leading, creating, implementing, and monitoring management strategies and communication plans that maximise employee adoption and usage & minimise resistance.

Responsibilities

Lead, Monitor, and Collaborate

Support enablement & change management through implementation phase of project; execute and prioritisation of activities in alignment with enablement lead, help PSS site change/ enablement management leader track accountabilities of the rest of the team; oversees implementation of an effective and efficient communications plan; attend training to offer insight and redirection as needed. Collaborate with the instructional designer on the implementation of training material and workshops. Facilitates and documents business requirements, provides input on process maps, drives test and implementation strategies. Conducts (Virtual and in-person) training to help users understand changes across PSS site locations.

Evaluate progress against plan and adjust strategy accordingly to ensure a seamless transition. Ensure accurate and effective launch and communication of expected changes. Ensure projects meet objectives on time and result in desired employee adoption and usage.

Post Implementation and Recommendations for higher usage/ adoption

Monitor the effectiveness of the implemented change. Collaborate with the designated PSS SPOCs through post-implementation phase to monitor progress of change; proactively monitor and measure the journey; assist the enablement/ change leader with post implementation reporting and analysis; collaborate with internal product liaison and enablement leader to address problems and gaps or delays in adoption. Measure effectiveness of change management plans and adjust where necessary. Provides with recommendations to maintain implementation solutions and follows-up with PSS sites periodically to ensure there is change sustainment.

Evaluate progress against plan and adjust strategy accordingly to ensure a seamless transition.

Decision Making

  • Actions created or suggested should be taken to the enablement/ change management leader for final approval or revisions as they relate to the change management plan or process.
  • Meet with business unit SME's or Super Users to discuss needs (e.g., communication and training).    

Job Qualifications and Educational Requirement

  • Applied knowledge of process improvement methodology
  • Applied knowledge of creating alignment between strategic plans, interventions, and execution of initiatives
  • Working knowledge of software programs: E-mail systems; MS Office Suite and MS Projects
  • Strong analytical & presentation skills
  • Must be comfortable creating, leading, facilitating, training virtual and in-person training
  • The ability to effectively influence stakeholders/ business teams and to be well-skilled in both oral and written communication
  • Must possess the ability to understand and articulate the complexity of business processes, and build/ develop/ support practical communications plans based upon those needs
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment and exhibit excellent multi-tasking skills
