Job Summary:

Our client, a leading consulting firm in the Data & Digital space, are seeking an experienced Senior SAP BusinessObjects Consultant to manage BO platform administration, basic report development, and system optimization. The role includes end-to-end BO lifecycle management, ensuring platform stability, and supporting business teams with reporting needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain SAP BO servers and services
  • Manage user security, access controls, and SSO (AD / SAML)
  • Perform server health checks, performance tuning, and capacity planning
  • Develop and maintain WebI, Crystal Reports, and Dashboards
  • Work with Universes (UNX/UNV) using IDT/UDT
  • Manage report scheduling, publication, and bursting
  • Handle migrations across Dev/QA/Prod using Promotion Management/LCM
  • Troubleshoot BO platform, report, and connectivity issues
  • Collaborate with business users for reporting requirements
  • Maintain system documentation and SOPs
  • Support upgrades, patching, and SSL/Tomcat configurations

Required Skills

  • 4-6 years of SAP BusinessObjects administration and basic development
  • Strong knowledge of BO architecture (CMS, APS, WebI, FRS, etc.)
  • Experience with IDT/UDT and Universe design
  • Good SQL and database connectivity knowledge (ODBC/JDBC)
  • Experience with BO upgrades and content migrations
  • Familiarity with Windows Server, Tomcat, and SSL setup
  • Strong troubleshooting & communication skills
