Assistant Dietician

Key Responsibilities:

Assist dietitians in assessing patients nutritional needs and preparing diet plans.

Monitor and record patients' food intake, dietary preferences, and progress.

Support in providing nutritional counseling to patients and their families under supervision.

Coordinate with the hospital kitchen staff to ensure prescribed diets are prepared and served correctly.

Help in preparing educational material on diet and nutrition for patients.

Maintain patient diet records and update them in the hospital system.

Assist in special nutrition programs, health camps, and awareness sessions organized by the hospital.

Ensure compliance with hospital dietary policies, hygiene, and food safety standards.

Support research and audit activities related to diet and nutrition services.

Skills & Competencies:

Knowledge of clinical nutrition and therapeutic diets.

Good communication and counseling skills.

Ability to work in a team and coordinate with medical & kitchen staff.

Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.

Empathy, patience, and attention to detail.

Qualifications & Experience:

Master's degree in Food & Nutrition / Dietetics .
