You will be collaborate with a talented global and local team in our Hyderabad, India office, while also enjoying the autonomy and comfort of remote work.

What You'll Do

• Lead and coordinate development efforts across products and features, often involving multiple teams.
• Contribute to solution design, perform proof of concepts (POCs), and develop scalable data platform offerings.
• Engineer and implement high-performance analytics solutions on AWS.
• Develop applications and distributed systems leveraging big data technologies such as Spark, Kafka, and streaming platforms.
• Work with microservices-based architectures using Kafka Streams and Spark streaming.
• Implement and optimize batch processing pipelines using Spark.
• Deploy and manage systems using Kubernetes and cloud-native platforms.
• Integrate data across SQL and NoSQL systems, including MySQL and Cassandra.
• Collaborate with DevOps to build robust CI/CD pipelines and monitoring/logging frameworks.
• Continuously research, learn, and adopt emerging technologies to improve solutions and processes.

Who You Are
You're a strategic thinker with a knack for operational excellence, ready to tackle multiple priorities with agility and grace. If you have:

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field (or equivalent).
• 5–8 years of experience in software development, with strong background in distributed systems and big data technologies.
• 5–8 years of experience developing applications in Core Java (Scala experience is a plus).
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with real-time data processing applications and ETL jobs for batch.
• Proven experience with AWS cloud services, Apache Kafka, and Confluent Kafka.
• Experience with Kubernetes deployment platforms.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong expertise in Spark (batch and streaming), Kafka, Kafka Streams, and Spark streaming.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and general programming principles.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, Cassandra).
• Familiarity with monitoring toolkits (Prometheus, Grafana) and logging mechanisms (EFK).
• Proficiency with DevOps and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub, Chef, Puppet).
• Eager to learn new technologies and quickly adapt them into projects.
• Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
