About the Role

As a Data Analyst at Passionfruit, you will work on AI-driven search data to uncover meaningful insights and support strategy teams in building breakthrough AI search marketing tactics for some of the largest global companies. You will analyze massive datasets, identify performance trends, and collaborate across SEO, product, and data teams to drive measurable business outcomes.

This role requires strong analytical ability, data storytelling, and curiosity to decode patterns in complex datasets — powering decisions that shape the future of AI-integrated search strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze large volumes of AI search and marketing performance data to discover patterns, insights, and growth opportunities.
  • Build automated data models and dashboards to visualize campaign performance, keyword shifts, and AI search trends.
  • Partner with SEO, product, and technology teams to shape cross-functional insights into actionable strategies.
  • Translate client objectives into data hypotheses and measurable outcomes.
  • Extract and clean data from diverse sources (e.g., Google Analytics, GSC, internal tech stack, APIs, data warehouses).
  • Develop frameworks to understand user behavior across AI search interfaces and identify emerging traffic channels.
  • Provide insights and reporting on data-driven experiments and marketing performance metrics.
  • Communicate findings in a clear, structured format suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Contribute feedback on data collection, tooling improvements, and reporting automations.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience working in a data analysis or digital analytics role, preferably in marketing, SEO, or performance domains.
  • Strong command of SQL, data modeling, and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or Looker Studio).
  • Proficiency with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, BigQuery, and other data platforms.
  • Proven experience in identifying trends and providing actionable business insights.
  • Comfort working with large, unstructured datasets and deriving meaningful narratives.
  • Strong communication skills — both written and verbal — to present data clearly and persuasively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience working at a digital marketing or technology agency, managing data for multiple clients.
  • Familiarity with AI and search engine data (e.g., understanding of LLM or generative search patterns).
  • Working knowledge of Python or R for statistical analysis or data manipulation.
