Job Summary:

We are seeking a
Senior Civil 3D Engineer
with a minimum of 8 years of professional experience in civil drafting using
Autodesk Civil 3D
. The successful candidate will lead and support a variety of civil engineering projects, including
land development, site planning, grading, drainage, roadways, and utility
.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the development of detailed civil plans using
    AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Create and manage:
  • Existing and proposed surfaces
  • Grading and earthwork models
  • Alignments, profiles, and corridors
  • Pipe networks (storm, sanitary, water)
  • Cross-sections and plan & profile sheets
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and drafters to deliver high-quality 2d documents
  • Oversee preparation of construction drawings, reports, and permitting documents
  • Perform checks, QA/QC, and resolve complex technical issues
  • Coordinate with clients, agencies, and utility providers as needed
  • Provide mentorship to junior staff and help standardize Civil 3D workflows and templates

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum
    5 years of hands-on experience
    with
    Autodesk Civil 3D
    in a professional setting
  • Expertise in:
  • Grading and earthwork design
  • Utility layout and profiles
  • Stormwater management and drainage systems
  • Roadway or site development
  • In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal design standards and permitting processes
  • Strong technical documentation and CAD drafting skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
