Optical Salesman Cum Fitter

Job Overview:

iTees Eye Hospital in Malappuram is actively looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive cum Optical fitter to join our esteemed team. The Sales Executive cum Optical fitter will play a pivotal role in promoting and selling our premium eyewear products, ensuring exceptional customer service, and surpassing sales targets.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

The successful candidate should possess qualities such as patience, value for time, a sense of commitment, reliability, and flexibility.

Your main job duties are:

• Knowing International Brands: You should know a lot about famous sunglasses and optical frames like Gucci, Fendi, Oakley, Cartier, Maybach, RayBan, etc.
• Running Outlets: Sometimes, you'll be in charge of a store. You need to talk to customers, follow up on questions, and encourage your store team.
• Understanding Optical Stuff: You should know about optical lenses and contact lenses.
• Helping Customers: Make sure things are organized, and customers are treated well.
• Teaching About Products: Teach customers about different eyewear products and their benefits.
• Keeping Things Neat: Keep the store organized and looking good to make shopping better.
• Fitting Glasses: Use machines to shape lenses and fit them perfectly into frames. Adjust frames for customers, measure their eyes correctly, and check that everything is good quality.

For this job, you should:

• Have at least 1 year of experience in retail, especially in optics.
• Be good at talking to people.
• Care a lot about customers and making them happy.
• Know a lot about eyewear and what's popular.
• Be good at reaching sales goals.
• Be able to work different hours, including weekends.
• Know how to use cash registers and basic computers.
• Finish high school; extra sales education is a bonus.
