Qualifications

  • Masters Or PhD in Biomechanics
  • Proficiency in data analysis and relevant software tools.
  • Experience with EMG, or musculoskeletal modeling is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Prior experience in an academic or clinical research setting.
  • Demonstrated track record of research outputs (e.g., publications, conference presentations).
  • Programming skills in MATLAB, Python, or similar environments

Job role

  • Design and execute human subject experiments involving motion capture, electromyography (EMG), and/or wearable sensors.
  • Collect, process, and analyze the datasets using relevant software (e.g., MATLAB, OpenSim, Python, etc.).
  • Ensure ethical compliance with human subject research guidelines and assist with Institutional Review Board (IRB) submissions and protocols.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments, protocols, and results.
  • Responsible for drafting the research manuscripts, abstracts, technical reports, and posters for publication or presentation.
  • Support preparation of grant proposals, progress reports, and funding documentation.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and other team members to achieve project goals.
  • Contribute to the development and testing of new experimental protocols, wearable technologies, or assistive devices.
  • Propose and develop pilot studies or side projects aligned with the Company's research focus.
  • Present research findings at national and international conferences and symposia.
  • Engage in professional development activities and stay current with the latest research and technologies.
