Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to support our finance department with daily accounting tasks. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers.
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Support in reconciling bank statements and accounts.
- Maintain and organize financial documents.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support payroll processing and vendor payments.
- Handle petty cash and daily accounting entries.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, ZOHO Books, QuickBooks).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and time management skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Salary:
Based on experience and qualifications.
