Global Business Services delivers Technology and Operations capabilities to Lines of Business and Staff Support Functions of Bank of America through a centrally managed, globally integrated delivery model and globally resilient operations. Process Overview

Employee experience technology, designs and delivers modern technology solutions for all teammates globally to interact, perform in their roles and service critical staff support organizations including Chief Administrative Office, Global Strategy & Enterprise Platforms, Global Human Resources, Corporate Audit & Credit Review, and Legal.

Legal Technology enables modern practice of law through technology transformation and is responsible for delivering strategic technology solutions to the Legal Department and Office of the Corporate.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer who can take an active role in delivering the technology strategy for the Legal portfolio. The candidate should have a strong technology background who is proficient at designing and developing large scale enterprise systems. They should also possess excellent leadership and problem-solving skills. The candidate will act as the primary interface with business partners, solution architects, and cross-organizational technology teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, debug, support, maintain and test applications that enable business units and supporting functions.
• Participate in the design, development, and implementation of complex applications, often using modern technologies. These solutions may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies, and tools.
• Develop and implement technical strategies and roadmaps, working closely with Solution Architects and Principal Engineers in adopting the principles defined as part of the Platform Architecture.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to drive business growth and innovation.
• Ensure high-quality code delivery and adherence to best practices.
• Provide technical direction and system design for individual initiatives.
• Lead projects and direct activities of special initiatives without having direct reports.
• Interpret business requirements and translate them into design solutions.
• Build strong relationships and influence on team members.
• Create and maintain system, functional, and reference documentation.
• Be part of scrum teams, working on sprints to ensure on-time delivery with high quality.
• Exhibit excellent communication and influencing skills.

Requirements Education

• B.E./B. Tech/M.E./M. Tech//MSC/MCA

Experience Range

• 12-14 years

Foundational Skills

• Minimum of 5 years experience in designing and developing medium to large scale enterprise applications.
• 10 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft technologies including Dotnet Core, C#.NET, and T-SQL.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in planning, executing, and managing the process of migrating data to cloud.
• Minimum of 3 years working knowledge in using CI/CD tools including Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible Tower.
• Strong working knowledge of commonly used architectural design patterns and cloud migration strategies.
• Ability to build service-oriented applications, n-tier architecture, web services, and consume web services (REST).
• 3 years of Angular development experience.
• Solid understanding of Containers, DevOps, and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Minimum of 3 years of Scrum and Agile SDLC experience.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong business acumen and ability to drive technical vision.

Desired Skills

• Experience with Domain Driven Design framework.
• Experience in managing data security in cloud platforms.
• Experience in managing applications hosted on public cloud.
• Good knowledge on SSIS and other ETL technologies.
• Experience with JavaScript framework.
