Job Title Spoken English Trainer
Job Purpose
To help learners develop confidence, fluency, and clarity in spoken English by teaching pronunciation, speaking skills, listening comprehension, vocabulary, and grammar in interactive sessions.
- Key Responsibilities Conduct spoken English classes for individuals or groups across different levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced)
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons and activities: role‑plays, group discussions, conversational exercises, debates etc.
- Teach grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, fluency, listening and comprehension skills
- Assess learners' speaking skills and track progress via tests, oral evaluations, quizzes etc.
- Provide constructive feedback and personalized guidance to improve weak areas
- Develop teaching materials, lesson plans, and resources suited to learner needs
- Foster a positive, supportive environment so learners feel comfortable speaking and making mistakes
- Adapt teaching methods to different learning styles and levels
- Maintain records of attendance, progress, feedback, and evaluation
- Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree (English, Education, Linguistics, or related field preferred)
- Prior experience teaching or training spoken English (even 1‑2 years is good)
- Strong command of English: pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, fluency
- Clear, confident communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to engage and motivate learners
- Patience, adaptability, empathy
- Creative in using interactive teaching methods
- Good organizational skills; ability to plan lessons and assessments
