About the Role

As a
Senior Backend Engineer
at
Opsolute
, you'll help build the core systems powering our cloud cost optimization platform. From
architecting scalable APIs
to
processing massive volumes of cloud data
, your work will deliver real-time insights and automation that enable teams to reduce spend and make smarter decisions. You'll collaborate closely with a focused team of engineers in a fast-paced environment, shaping both our technology and product direction. If you enjoy solving complex backend challenges and want to make a meaningful impact early on, this role is for you.

What You'll Do

• Design and build
   scalable backend systems that power real-time cloud cost analysis, insights, and automation across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Develop secure, reusable integrations
   with cloud and SaaS platforms, enabling smooth data flow and intelligent decision-making.
• Collaborate cross-functionally
   with product, security, and design teams to shape and deliver features from concept to launch.
• Champion engineering excellence
   by driving best practices in testing, observability, documentation, and code quality.
• Influence architecture and strategy
  , mentor team members, and help shape a strong, platform-first engineering culture.

What We're Looking For:-

• Education -
   Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (required).
• Experience
• 3+ years of backend engineering experience building scalable, production-ready systems, preferably in cloud-native or SaaS environments.
• Backend Skills
  : Proficient in Python or Go; experienced with RESTful APIs, background jobs, workflows, and relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL) including managed database services.
• Cloud & Infrastructure -
   Prefer hands-on AWS experience (EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch), with strong skills in Terraform, Docker/Kubernetes, and a solid grasp of cost optimization, 
  cloud cost management
  , usage metrics, and end-to-end service deployment with consistent monitoring and logging.
• Security & Reliability:
   Experience with secure system design (OAuth2, JWT, RBAC) and a strong focus on building reliable, maintainable, and well-documented systems.
• Strong communicator and collaborator—comfortable working across engineering, site reliability and product teams.
