cctv hardware technician

We are seeking a dedicated and hands-on IT Hardware & Infrastructure Support Technician with at least 3 years of experience in IT hardware, networking, and surveillance system installations. The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of structured cabling, computer/printer hardware troubleshooting, and full CCTV installation (DVR/NVR). This is a field-oriented, technical support role requiring a proactive and solution-driven professional.

Key Responsibilities:

IT Hardware & Support:

• Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, and computer peripherals.
• Diagnosing and repairing hardware issues (motherboards, RAM,HDDs/SSDs, SMPS, etc.).
• Hardware upgrades and routine maintenance of end-user devices.

Networking & Cabling:

• Network cabling (CAT5/CAT6), RJ-45 crimping, and patch panel termination.
• Basic switch and router installation support.
• LAN/WAN setup and troubleshooting at user level.

CCTV Surveillance (DVR/NVR):

• Complete installation and configuration of analog & IP CCTV systems.
• Camera mounting, cable laying, DVR/NVR setup, remote access setup via mobile/web.
• Routine maintenance and troubleshooting of surveillance systems.

Printer & Peripheral Maintenance:

• Installation and servicing of printers (LaserJet, Inkjet, Dot Matrix).
• Toner replacement, drum cleaning, print quality troubleshooting.
• Support for scanners and multifunctional devices.

Documentation & Asset Management:

• Maintain inventory of IT hardware assets.
• Keep service and maintenance records.
• Assist in procurement by reporting needs or hardware failures.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT hardware support role.
• Educational background: Diploma / ITI / Graduate in IT/Computer Science preferred.
• Certifications in Hardware & Networking (CompTIA A+, N+, or equivalent) are an added advantage.
