About the Role
ZooqFilms is looking for a passionate and creative Video Editing Intern who is skilled in DaVinci Resolve. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in professional video editing and storytelling for films, web content, and branded videos.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into polished videos using DaVinci Resolve
- Work closely with directors and producers to understand editing needs and timelines
- Add music, sound effects, transitions, color grading, and motion graphics
- Maintain organized file structures and follow standard post-production workflows
- Ensure final output meets quality standards and project objectives
- Take feedback constructively and deliver revisions on time
Requirements
- Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve (mandatory)
- Basic knowledge of video formats, resolution, and export settings
- Strong storytelling skills and attention to visual detail
- Ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively
- A portfolio or sample work demonstrating editing skills (preferred)
