Role Description:

This is a full-time, on-site role located in PCMC for a Design / Cad Cam Engineer. We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated design engineer to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will support the Engineering Manager. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in design and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and modify detailed 2D/3D CAD models, assemblies, and engineering drawings for mechanical components and tools.

Assist in new product development and continuous improvement of existing designs to enhance performance and manufacturability.

Support tool design activities and implement updates as per design requirements.

Create CAD assemblies and skeleton models using defined methodologies and best practices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and quality to ensure feasibility and design compliance.

Conduct engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, and apply GD&T principles to validate and optimize designs.

Maintain accurate design documentation including version control, BOMs, and drawing revisions.

Ensure alignment with quality standards, safety guidelines, and QMS requirements.

Modify or optimize existing 2D/3D layouts and assemblies to meet evolving product needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Commerce.

  • 2+ years of experience in tool design, or related field.

  • Excellent Knowledge of software like Catia, AutoCad is a must.

  • Strong grasp of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Highly motivated and goal oriented.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-changing environment.

Nice to Have:

Experience in rubber / elastomer tool and mold design.

Office Timings:
Monday - Saturday (8:30 AM to 5:30 PM)

Renumeration:
CTC will be as per industry standard.
