Job Description:The Core Network Engineer plays a significant role in the Core Network Engineering team who is accountable for deploying maintaining and growing a scalable maintainable highly available network infrastructure that meets business objectives and SLAsKey Responsibilities:he main focus are create low level design based on the high level design provided by Architecture create migration implementation plans and complete the planned worked agreed between the different project teams during the LG maintenance windowsReview and validate high level design and migration planBuild low level design and detailed migration planPerform end to end testing of engineered solutions before deployed in live networksImplement deploy network solutions services including network changes during nightly change windows and hand over to OperationsAssist in capacity augmentation and network optimization deploymentsTest and certify new network HW SW and participate in POC with vendorsDiagnose and resolve network hardware software and other system problemsSuggest improvements to network performance capacity and scalabilityMentor team members and coaching new hiresTechnical Requirements:In depth understanding of networking protocols such as ISIS OSPF BGP MPLS VPNs QoS etcNetwork Planning Design and Implementation experience in HLD and LLDThroughout knowledge of IPv4 v6 migration techniques policy languagesSolid understanding of Juniper routing and switching products and technologiesExperience in reverse engineering and problem solvingStrong overall understanding of the technologies and platforms specific to a large cable and telecommunications operatorAdditional Responsibilities:Strong experience in documenting writing Low Level Designs guidelinesExperience in route reflectorsExperience in service provider networkExcellent communicatorPhenomenal teammate but equally Independent confident and with a delivery focused mind setPreferred Skills:Domain->Network->Network Security Protocols & Standards->MPLS,Domain->Telecom->Wireless LTE Core network technology & protocols,Technology->Cloud Security->GCP - Infrastructure Security,Technology->Infrastructure Security->Virtual Private Network, Firewall->Pulse secure VPN
