Electrical Operation Manager

Required Dedicated Electrical Project Operation Manager with 5+ Years of Experience in Residential , Commercial & Industrial Electrical Installations

Job Description :

Oversees the planning, execution, and completion of solar energy projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with technical and safety standards.

This role bridges electrical engineering expertise with project management, focusing on photovoltaic (PV) systems, grid integration, and renewable energy solutions. The manager coordinates with clients, contractors and site engineers to achieve project goals while adhering to environmental and regulatory requirements .

Key Responsibilities*

1. Project Planning & Design

2. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

3. Develop detailed schedules, budgets, and resource plans for solar electrical installations .

4. Review electrical designs, PV system layouts, and technical specifications to ensure feasibility and compliance with codes (e.g., NEC, IEC) .

5. Execution & Supervision*

6. Oversee solar PV system installations, including Structure , panels, inverters, wiring, and grid connections .

7. Manage subcontractors, electricians, and technicians, ensuring quality workmanship and safety protocols (OSHA, NFPA) .

8. Conduct site inspections to resolve technical issues and mitigate risks (e.g., supply chain delays, weather) .

9. Budget & Cost Control*

10. Monitor project expenses, track financial performance, and implement cost-saving measures .

11. Compliance & Safety*

12. Secure permits and ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations (e.g., building codes, utility interconnection standards) .

13. Enforce safety protocols and conduct risk assessments for electrical work .

14. Stakeholder Communication*

15. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, utilities, and regulatory agencies .

16. Provide progress reports, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction .

Qualifications & Skills*

*Education & Experience*

• *Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field* .

• *5+ years in solar project management*, with expertise in PV systems and electrical infrastructure .

*Technical Skills*

• Proficiency in PV design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, PVsyst) and project management software (MS Project, Primavera) .

• Knowledge of Grid-tied and off-grid solar systems, battery storage, RMS Management and SCADA systems .

*Soft Skills*

• Leadership, problem-solving, and adaptability to evolving technologies .

• Strong communication for coordinating cross-functional teams .

*Work Environment*

• *Hybrid role*: Office-based with frequent site visits to Solar Residential or commercial installations .

• Travel up to *25%* may be required for multi-site projects .
