SBA Tax Consultants provides specialized tax advisory, compliance, and financial consulting services tailored to individuals, small businesses, corporates, and investment clients. We are seeking experienced Tax Consultants to collaborate with us on a case-to-case basis for client projects, tax compliance, and strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and file individual, business, and corporate tax returns.
  • Advise on tax planning strategies, deductions, credits, and compliance requirements.
  • Provide representation support for IRS notices, audits, appeals, and dispute resolutions.
  • Assist clients with SBA loan-related tax compliance and documentation.
  • Conduct financial analysis, reconciliations, and reporting when required.
  • Guide clients on accounting standards, regulatory compliance, and reporting obligations.
  • Handle case-specific tax issues such as amendments, penalty abatements, and settlement agreements.
  • Support clients with international taxation, NRI/expat tax filings, and cross-border compliance.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Professional background in taxation, compliance, or financial consulting.
  • 2–5+ years of relevant experience in U.S. tax filings, IRS representation, or advisory services.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. tax codes, IRS regulations, and compliance frameworks.
  • Proficiency in tax/accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Drake, ProSeries, Lacerte, or similar).
  • Strong communication and client advisory skills.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple client cases.

Engagement Model:

  • Work will be assigned on a case-to-case basis, depending on client needs.
  • Compensation will be structured per engagement/project, finalized prior to assignment.
  • Flexibility to work remotely or in coordination with SBA Tax Consultants.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in small business taxation and compliance.
  • Knowledge of international taxation, expat/NRI cases, and investment structures.
  • Ability to manage complex IRS cases requiring negotiation and settlement.
