Job description:

Rational Engineering ltd. is looking for Production Manager for its Manufacturing Plant at Halol, Gujarat to join its dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in engineering or business management, combined with hands-on expertise in Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies. This role demands strategic thinking, process discipline, and a passion for continuous improvement in conductor manufacturing.

Key Responsibility:


• Oversee end-to-end production of CTC conductors, ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety standards are met


• Implement and sustain Lean manufacturing practices, Six Sigma projects, and Kaizen initiatives across the shop floor


• Develop and motivate the cost-effective alternatives and improvements to production processes.


• Develop and monitor daily production plans, shift schedules, and resource allocation


• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for process deviations and quality issues


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, SCM, Maintenance) to optimize throughput and reduce waste


• Maintain production MIS dashboards and performance trackers for internal reviews and client reporting


• Lead operator training programs and skill matrix development in coordination with HR and Training teams


• Ensure compliance with ISO, safety, and environmental standards


• Support new product trials, process validations, and technology upgrades
