Job Description – ECG Technician

Position: ECG Technician

Experience Required: 1–5 Years (Adjustable)

Location: [cotton green]

Salary: [15-30]

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced ECG Technician who can perform and interpret ECG recordings, assist in cardiac diagnostic procedures, and support the medical team in providing patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform ECG (Electrocardiogram) tests as per physician instructions.
  • Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process.
  • Attach electrodes and ensure accurate ECG tracing.
  • Monitor patient vitals and report abnormal results immediately.
  • Maintain ECG machines, ensure calibration and cleanliness.
  • Record and maintain patient reports and documentation.
  • Assist doctors during cardiac examinations when required.
  • Follow all safety, hygiene, and infection control protocols.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Certificate / Diploma in ECG / Cardiac Technician / Paramedical Course.
  • Hands-on experience in performing 12-Lead ECG.
  • Understanding of basic cardiac rhythms & abnormalities.
  • Good communication and patient handling skills.
  • Ability to work calmly in a clinical environment.

Work Schedule

  • Full-time role
  • Shift timings may vary as per center/hospital schedule.
