Job Description:

ZakApps is seeking a talented and experienced Test Engineer with 4 to 6 years to take the responsibility for understanding the functionality of the web applications and the apps, developing test cases, and executing tests as per the test plan. Prior experience in testing with eCommerce / Retail related Projects is preferred.

Position is to Work from office in Chennai.

Responsibilities:


• Perform manual testing of software applications to ensure quality and reliability.


• Understand software requirements and specifications to develop comprehensive test cases.


• Execute test cases according to the defined test plans and procedures.


• Identify and document defects and track them to closure.


• Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues.


• Participate in test planning, estimation, and review meetings.


• Build automation scripts for applicable test scenarios

Skill and Academic Requirements:


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.


• 4-6 years of experience in software testing - API, Functionality, Compatibility, Regression Testing


• Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, tools and best practices.


• Proficiency in creating test cases and test scenarios based on functional requirements.


• Must be able to join immediately.
