We are seeking an experienced Flutter Developer on a contract role to build and maintain cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience integrating voice recognition and mapping services and a strong commitment to producing high-quality, reliable code through comprehensive unit testing. You will work closely with our design and client teams to turn concepts into reality.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced mobile applications using the Flutter framework and Dart language.
  • Implement voice recognition and speech-to-text features for enhanced user interaction.
  • Integrate interactive mapping services (e.g., Google Maps) with custom markers, location tracking, and real-time data handling.
  • Write and maintain high-quality, robust, and reliable code, with a strong focus on comprehensive unit testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and product managers, to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Work with external data sources, APIs, and backend services.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members.

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent degree in computer science and applications
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Flutter Developer with a strong portfolio showcasing mobile applications built with Flutter.
  • Expertise in Dart: Strong proficiency in the Dart programming language.
  • Voice Recognition
    : Hands-on experience implementing voice recognition or speech-to-text using packages like speech-to-text or similar services.
  • Map Integration
    : Experience with map integrations, including handling API keys, displaying maps, custom markers, and geolocation services.
  • Good to know skill: Basic of local docker integration with flutter applications
  • Unit Testing
    : Solid understanding and practical experience with unit testing in Flutter, including the use of mocking frameworks.
  • API Integration: Experience with consuming RESTful APIs and handling JSON data.
  • Version Control: Proficiency with Git and standard version control workflows.
  • Collaboration: Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
