  • POST : PRESS OPERATOR
  • Machine setup: Calibrating and preparing presses for a job by installing parts like plates or dies, and adjusting settings based on job specifications.
  • Operation: Operating machinery to cut, shape, print, or form materials, and monitoring the process to ensure it runs correctly.
  • Quality control: Inspecting finished products for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards, and making adjustments as needed.
  • Maintenance and troubleshooting: Performing routine maintenance and cleaning on the equipment, and diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues as they arise.
  • Material handling: Loading raw materials into the press and handling finished products.
  • Safety: Adhering to all safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Record keeping: Maintaining production and quality logs.

Key skills and knowledge

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and job drawing to set up machines accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure product quality.
  • Technical understanding of the specific type of press being operated (e.g., digital, offset, hydraulic, mechanical).
  • Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot machine malfunctions.
  • Familiarity with safety procedures and protocols.

Job Type: Full-time
