Fund Operations Specialist
who will be instrumental in managing post-trade activities and ensuring operational accuracy across a range of asset classes, including Fixed Income, Equities, Derivatives, and Alternatives.
Key Responsibilities:
•
Trade Lifecycle Management
: Oversee the full trade lifecycle from execution to settlement across Fixed Income and other asset classes (Equities, Derivatives, FX, etc.)
•
Reconciliations
: Perform daily cash and position reconciliations between internal systems, custodians, fund administrators, and prime brokers.
•
Settlement Monitoring
: Monitor and resolve trade settlement issues across global markets, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
•
Corporate Actions & Income Processing
: Review and process corporate actions, dividends, and interest payments accurately and in a timely manner.
•
Reporting
: Generate and validate reports including P&L, exposure, compliance, and risk reports for internal stakeholders and clients.
•
System & Process Optimization
: Collaborate with technology and project teams to improve operational workflows, automation, and system efficiency.
•
Client Service
: Liaise with portfolio managers, custodians, auditors, and external vendors to resolve queries and ensure smooth fund operations.
•
Regulatory Compliance
: Ensure adherence to relevant regulatory requirements and internal controls.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• years of experience in fund operations, fund accounting, or middle office functions.
• Strong understanding of
Fixed Income instruments
(bonds, treasuries, structured products),
Syndicated Bank Loans
and other asset classes.
• Familiarity with
trade settlements, reconciliations, and NAV processes
.
• Experience with systems like Bloomberg, Advent, Eagle, Aladdin, or similar OMS/PMS.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, macros a plus).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with global fund structures (e.g.,
UCITS
, hedge funds, private funds), & Asset Managers
• Knowledge of corporate actions, FX hedging, and derivatives operations.
• Exposure to regulatory frameworks.
