Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain a scalable internal developer platform that automates infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and chaos testing environments on Kubernetes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud-native technologies, software automation, and developer tooling. You will enable development teams to deploy high-quality software rapidly and reliably by providing robust self-service platforms integrated with resilience testing and validation capabilities.

• Design, implement, and maintain a scalable internal developer platform supporting Kubernetes-based deployments and chaos engineering practices.
• Build and manage
  robust CI/CD pipelines

that automate software building, deployment, and validation workflows, incorporating
chaos testing and other reliability validations

- Develop and maintain core software libraries, APIs, and tooling to enable developers to write and run automated test cases efficiently.
- Build and work with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools

for infrastructure and platform components.
- Monitor and improve platform health, availability, and developer experience

through observability and feedback loops.
- Own
platform documentation

, training materials, and onboarding processes for developer teams.
- Stay current with emerging cloud-native technologies, best practices in
chaos engineering

automation frameworks

to continuously enhance the platform.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science
  , Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience
  in SRE, Platform, or Systems Engineering roles.
• Proven experience with
  Kubernetes and container orchestration

platforms.
- Strong expertise in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, or similar technologies.
- Hands-on experience with chaos engineering practices and tools (e.g., Chaos Mesh, LitmusChaos, Gremlin).
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Go, Python, or JavaScript, especially for developing test libraries and automation scripts.
- Solid understanding of
cloud infrastructure, networking, and security

in public cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Proficiency in Building components to enable Infrastructure as Code

tools such as Terraform, Helm, or Ansible.
- Familiarity with
security frameworks and implementation
of
security controls
across infrastructure layers.
- Good knowledge of monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks for production environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with
  iPXE
  and relavant environments
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and service mesh technologies.
• Knowledge of software testing frameworks and quality engineering principles.
• Experience contributing to
  open-source projects

or developer communities.
- Experience with
multi-tenant
storage platforms and data lifecycle management.
- Deep knowledge of SRE principles, including error budgets, toil reduction, and resilience engineering.
- Exposure to
Zero Trust architecture
, service mesh (e.g., Istio), and API security practices.
- Contributions to open-source storage or cloud-native projects are a strong plus.
