Description

We are seeking an experienced Lathe Technician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in operating lathe machines and a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality production of precision components.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate lathe machines to produce precision components.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Perform regular maintenance and repairs on lathe machines.
• Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to optimize production processes.
• Maintain accurate records of production data and machine operations.

Skills and Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in operating lathe machines in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong understanding of machining processes and techniques.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers.
• Knowledge of CNC programming is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
