• Client-Facing exposure is mandateRole Purpose : We are seeking a highly experienced payments specialist to join GPS Ops Payments Infrastructure as BA.

This is a high-profile role accountable for driving the delivery of business and operationalrequirements for new products and changes across our Payments Infrastructure. The Payments Infrastructure team operates across all our payment systems Cross Border / high value, Domestic & Real Time Payments, Investigations, and post processing, and is a key partner to Operations, LOB product leads and Technology. Your responsibilities will include : 1.

Own and prepare business functional requirements, user stories and process flows.2. Ensure all regulatory and mandatory and Business changes are defined, developed, and executed faultlessly on the Group payments platform.3. Review of global and regional Functional Change Requests to assess validity and feasibility in line with current user requirements : 4.

Elimination of non-applicable requirements and ensure the most cost-effective delivery of a solution to a user requirement5. Organise and run meetings with key regional and technical stakeholders to review user requirements and advise on the appropriate approach to any functional change.6. Attend defect review calls and triage meeting and provide SME inputs.

-7. Help resolve production issue and incidents along with IT and core Ops teams. Skill requirement : 1.

Payments subject matter expert with domain knowledge2. Sound understanding on Cash products & message types (MT series), MT103, 202, 202COV Message, routing and clearing logics3. Must have good exposure on ISO formats CBPR & HVPS (PACS

• MX), involvement in ISO migration will be an added advantage.4.

Should be well versed with major clearing platforms SWIFT, CHAPS, CHIPS, FEDS, EBA & TGT, MAS, CHATS, FEMA and other MESA countries.5. UAT/Testing experience & generic project management skills are preferred6. Should possess common understanding about Investigation process and its msg types (CAMT etc.,). To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements : 1. Knowledge on different payment settlement methods

• RTGS, ACH, RTP, SEPA.

With working experience in any of the above2. Understanding of different message types MT/MX, at least key payment message types3. Understanding different payment flows

• Credit transfer, direct debit, Request to pay.

Should be able to explain at least one flow end to end from initiation to settlement.4. Understanding key payment processing steps :

• Validations
• schema, business validations etc.
• Sanctions and Fraud
• Fees
• Accounting
• Identifying MOP
• Reconciliation
• Reporting, statements, advices5.

View of key systems in payments infrastructure

• upstream, downstream, orchestration layer, payment engine, gateways etc.6.

Good to have some experience on Ops readiness. Understand the impact to ops when working on solution and design options.7. Understanding kinds of requirements

• Business requirements, interface requirements,formatting/mapping, NFR's -(IMP)8.

Experience in user story creation9. Experience in UAT test scenario creation )
