Senior Cloud Security Specialist – Job Description

Technical Skills

Essential:

- Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, IT, or Security.

- 3+ years hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure security (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Certifications: CSA CCSK, ISC2 CCSP, AWS/Azure Architect, AWS Security Specialty.

- Advanced knowledge of cloud networking (Firewall, VPN, VNet, WAF, NSG).

- Experience with compliance frameworks: CSA STAR, SOC 2, PCI DSS, ISO 27018, GDPR.

- DevSecOps and automation skills for secure CI/CD and cloud operations.

- Strong grasp of cloud security design patterns and frameworks.

- Ability to identify, assess, and remediate cloud security vulnerabilities and risks.

- Experience with IT infrastructure (DNS, DHCP, AD, Windows, Linux).

- System integration: SFTP, MQ, WebServices, Splunk, Sentinel, Wiz.

- Container security: Docker, Kubernetes, securing registries, images, workloads.

- Hands-on with cloud-native security platforms (Splunk, Azure Sentinel, AWS GuardDuty, Wiz, etc.).

- Experience with continuous monitoring and reporting tools.

- Payment business exposure is a plus.

- Experience with AI-powered threat detection, automated incident response, and security analytics in cloud environments.

- Securing machine learning workloads, including model hardening, adversarial defense, and data privacy for AI systems.

- Familiarity with generative AI risks and mitigation strategies in cloud deployments.

- Knowledge of secure MLOps practices and AI governance frameworks.

- Collaboration with data science teams to embed security in AI/ML product lifecycles.

- Commitment to continuous learning on AI security threats, tools, and best practices.


Desirable:

- 2+ years SOC Type 2 experience.

- 3+ years ISO 27018 experience.

- CSA Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK), ISC2 Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Microsoft Azure Architect Design, Microsoft Azure Architect Technologies, Amazon Web Services Architect Certification

- Experience with Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence, Service NOW, Wiz, Splunk.

- Application resiliency implementation and testing.

- Excellent communication and analytical troubleshooting skills.
