Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design Development:

  2. Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings using software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.

  3. Develop and review designs, ensuring they meet client requirements and industry standards.

  4. Project Coordination:

  5. Collaborate with clients, project managers, and fabrication teams to understand project requirements.

  6. Ensure timely submission of designs for approval and production.

  7. Material Optimization:

  8. Recommend suitable materials based on design requirements and project constraints.

  9. Optimize designs for material usage, reducing waste and costs.

  10. Quality Assurance:

  11. Check designs for accuracy, completeness, and manufacturability.

  12. Assist in resolving technical issues during fabrication and installation.

  13. Documentation and Reporting:

  14. Maintain design documentation and records for all projects.

  15. Prepare project reports and updates for stakeholders.

  16. Innovation and Improvement:

  17. Stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and techniques in the fabrication industry.

  18. Suggest improvements to existing processes for better efficiency and quality.

Key Requirements:

  • Educational Qualification:

Bachelors degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.

  • Experience:
  • 2-5 years of experience in design, preferably in the fabrication or manufacturing industry.
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.). o Strong understanding of fabrication processes and materials. o Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Additional Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Experience with CNC programming is a plus.
