Equity Research Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION: RESEARCH ANALYST

We are looking for a SEBI-certified, research-oriented, and fundamentally sound Research Analyst to join our newly established Research Division at SIDDHARTH BHANUSHALI ADVISORY PVT. LTD.

This role will focus on delivering well-researched, actionable, and regulation-compliant investment research for our clients and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of fundamental and technical analysis, experience in creating high-quality research reports, and a deep working knowledge of the Indian stock markets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Equity Research & Investment Analysis

• Conduct in-depth fundamental analysis of listed companies using balance sheets, P&L statements, annual reports, and industry data.

• Perform technical chart analysis, trend evaluations, and price action studies for short- to medium-term investment ideas.

• Track macroeconomic factors, sectoral research, earnings reports, and corporate actions impacting stock performance.

1. Research Report Preparation

• Create and publish regular research reports, including :

.Company coverage reports

o Thematic or sectoral insights

o Result analysis summaries

o Investment rationales and valuation notes

• Ensure every research report is SEBI-compliant, well-cited, and based on verifiable public data.

1. Portfolio Screening & Idea Generation

• Continuously screen stocks for inclusion based on valuation, business quality, and technical patterns.

• Suggest trade/investment ideas based on quantifiable filters, back-tested systems, or discretionary frameworks.

• Maintain model portfolios, update calls based on market behavior, and ensure timely tracking of published recommendations.

1. In-House Research & Strategic Inputs

• Support the internal teams (content, education, product) with:

o Research on trending topics o Fact-checking for course material

o Data gathering for YouTube and social content

o Deep dives on stocks/sectors for public communication

• Prepare research packs, charts, or briefing documents for webinars, podcasts, or internal content review.

1. Regulatory & Quality Compliance

• Ensure all issued research complies with SEBI Research Analyst Regulations (Series XV).

• Maintain research disclosures, disclaimers, and audit logs as per standard operating guidelines.

• Participate in internal audits, peer reviews, and compliance checks as part of regulatory readiness.

1. Tools, Tracking & Presentation

• Use tools such as TradingView, , Amibroker, Excel, PowerPoint, and data APIs to prepare compelling and data-backed presentations.

• Track performance of past research calls and maintain analytics reports to improve quality and accuracy over time.

• Build sector outlook decks, investment presentations, and monthly/quarterly review reports. Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or related field.

• Must have cleared NISM Series XV – SEBI Certified Research Analyst Exam.

• 3–4 years of experience in equity research, portfolio advisory, or investment analysis.

• Strong command over Fundamental Analysis and Technical Research methods.

• Proficiency in tools like TradingView, Screener, MS Excel, and charting software.

Work Location

This is a Work from Office role based in Dombivli, Maharashtra.
