SAP TM Functional Architect

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Transportation Management (TM) Functional Architect with extensive hands-on expertise in SAP TM implementation projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in SAP TM development, coupled with solid functional knowledge of transportation and logistics processes.

This role involves solution architecture, technical leadership, and close collaboration with functional teams to ensure high-quality, scalable, and efficient SAP TM solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead SAP TM solution design, architecture, and implementation across multiple projects. P

  • Provide hands-on technical expertise in ABAP, enhancements, BOPF, PPF, Fiori/UI5, and SAP TM integration scenarios (e.g., SAP ERP, EWM, third-party systems).

  • Collaborate with functional consultants to align technical solutions with business requirements.

  • Drive system configuration and custom development for SAP TM processes (Freight Order, Freight Settlement, Planning, Charge Management, etc.).

  • Ensure best practices in performance optimization, scalability, and maintainability of SAP TM solutions.

  • Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and quality assurance checks.

  • Mentor and guide project teams on both technical and functional aspects of SAP TM.

  • Proven track record of end-to-end SAP TM implementation projects.

  • Strong technical expertise in SAP TM development (BOPF, PPF, BRF+, UI5/Fiori, ABAP, integration frameworks).

  • Good understanding of functional processes within SAP TM (Transportation Planning, Execution, Settlement, Master Data).

  • Experience with SAP TM integration to SAP ERP, EWM, and non-SAP systems. Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.

  • Preferred: Exposure to S/4HANA TM.

  • Experience working in global, large-scale SAP programs.
