About the Role

Signoff Semiconductors is seeking an experienced
Lead Physical Design Engineer
to join our growing team in Bangalore. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge semiconductor designs and lead physical design implementation from RTL to GDSII.

What You'll Do

Lead block/SoC level RTL-to-GDSII physical design flow

Drive block-level timing closure and optimize for performance

Perform comprehensive signoff checks including MVRC/CLP, LEC/Formality, DRC, LVS, IR, and EM

Implement low power design techniques and advanced power management strategies

Develop and maintain automation scripts using TCL/SHELL/PERL

Work on advanced technology nodes (10nm, 7nm, 5nm preferred)

What We're Looking For

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communication / Electrical & Electronics
  • Master's in VLSI (preferred)

Experience:

  • 6-8 years of hands-on experience in Physical Design

Technical Skills:

  • Strong expertise in full chip/block-level physical design implementation
  • Proficient in timing closure methodologies
  • Deep knowledge of low power implementation and signoff flows
  • Excellent scripting abilities (TCL/SHELL/PERL)
  • Experience with advanced technology nodes (10nm and below is a plus)
