Role & responsibilities

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager / Sr. Sales Manager to drive business development in the Power and Infrastructure sector. This role involves managing key government and private clients, generating new sales opportunities, and achieving revenue targets through proactive project engagement and strong relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage sales for Infrastructure and Power Projects across B2G and B2B segments.
  • Understand and interpret engineering and lighting drawings for technical discussions.
  • Acquire approvals for product ranges from government authorities, institutions, and consultants.
  • Generate new leads from government and corporate clients and maintain a healthy sales funnel.
  • Ensure repeat business, coordinate project execution, and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Prepare and maintain weekly MIS reports and monthly forecasts for management review.
  • Travel across assigned regions to develop and maintain client relationships.

Location-Specific Requirements:

Hyderabad:

  • Handle clients including AAI Hyderabad, AAI Vijayawada, CPWD, PWD, NTPC, BHEL, and other private sector clients in Power & Infrastructure.
  • Work with contractors such as KMV, TATA, Renaatus, Sri Avantika, L&T, Shabhri, and other major project contractors in the region.

Gujarat:

  • Handle clients including Adani Power, Adani Green, Adani Wind, Adani Transmission, AAI, Gujarat Tourism, PWD Gujarat.
  • Work with contractors such as L&T, Monte Carlo, PSP, and other leading contractors in Gujarat.
  • Experience working with architects is also preferable.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong technical background (Diploma / Engineering preferred).
  • Proven track record of achieving annual sales targets and closing large orders.
  • Hands-on experience with Sales CRM tools (Zoho, HubSpot, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented, and capable of leading sales initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of Power, Lighting, and Infrastructure projects.

Education:

  • Graduate in any discipline.
  • B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical Engineering preferred.

Work Location: In-person, Hyderabad or Gujarat
