About the Role

At ConveGenius, we believe children learn English best when it feels like a story to experience, a language to play with, and a tool to express themselves — not just rules to memorize.

As an Associate – English Learning Experience Designer, you will help design joyful, meaningful, and classroom-ready English learning experiences. You will contribute to story-led lessons, interactive language activities, assessments, and learning flows while collaborating with designers, developers, and senior LXDs.

This role blends pedagogy, storytelling, user understanding, and creative experimentation to make English accessible, confidence-building, and engaging for every child.

Core Responsibilities
1. Design English Learning Experiences

• Turn English concepts (reading, vocabulary, grammar, speaking, listening) into hands-on stories, games, and activities that build confidence and curiosity.
• Develop storyboards and learning flows blending strong language pedagogy with creative storytelling.
• Apply instructional design principles to create clear, scaffolded learning experiences.
• Work with design and tech teams to translate storyboards into interactive digital learning.
• Ensure content aligns with curriculum goals, is age-appropriate, and reflects how children truly learn English in diverse contexts.

2. Review and Refine Learning Content

• Participate in peer reviews to ensure clarity, accuracy, and language learning depth.
• Support senior LXDs and reviewers in maintaining high content standards.
• Provide constructive feedback that improves storybooks, activities, speaking/listening tasks, and lessons.
• Ensure content is inclusive, engaging, and joyful across all formats.

3. Collaborate to Build Learning Experiences

• Work closely with illustrators, animators, voice artists, and developers to bring stories and interactions to life.
• Translate scripts and concepts into clear creative briefs and interaction notes.
• Align visuals, audio, and interactivity with English learning objectives and classroom realities.

4. Learn from Learners

• Conduct user research and feedback sessions with children, teachers, and facilitators.
• Use classroom insights to refine pacing, clarity, difficulty, and interaction design.

5. Innovation and Experimentation

• Stay updated on new trends, tools, and approaches in English pedagogy and digital learning.
• Bring fresh, creative ideas to improve digital English learning experiences.
• Test new prototypes, gather feedback, and iterate quickly.
