Job Title: Java Developer (Spring Boot)

Job Overview:

We are looking for a motivated Java Developer with hands-on experience in Spring Boot to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to building, testing, and maintaining web applications while working alongside a diverse team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Application Development:
  • Develop, test, and maintain Java applications using the Spring Boot framework.
  • Assist in designing and implementing REST APIs and basic microservices.
  • Write clean, modular, and maintainable code while following industry best practices.
  • Support & Maintenance:
  • Troubleshoot issues and collaborate with the team to resolve bugs and performance bottlenecks.
  • Help implement automated tests to ensure application reliability.
  • Participate in routine code reviews to improve code quality and functionality.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand feature requirements and contribute to solution designs.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management about progress and potential improvements.
  • Be open to learning new tools and methodologies to enhance development processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Technical Skills:
  • Solid understanding of Java programming and object-oriented principles.
  • Practical experience with the Spring Boot framework and basic Spring modules.
  • Familiarity with building RESTful web services.
  • Basic knowledge of databases such as Microsoft SQL.
  • Tools & Practices:
  • Experience with a version control system (e.g., Git) and build tools (e.g., Maven).
  • Exposure to automated testing (e.g., JUnit) is a plus.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced work environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Some experience or coursework in web services, cloud basics, or Agile methodologies.
  • Interest in developing new skills in advanced frameworks and modern development practices over time.
